Jadé Fadojutimi

1993 – Present3 artworks

Jadé Fadojutimi is a British artist and one of the most celebrated young painters of her generation. Born in London in 1993 to a Nigerian family, she creates large, exuberant abstract canvases filled with tangles of vivid color, energetic marks, and dense layers of pattern. Her paintings explore identity, emotion, and the search for a sense of self and belonging.

She often works through the night, pouring feeling into fast, expressive brushwork, and she draws inspiration from music, anime, and the objects around her. Her rise has been remarkably swift, with major museums acquiring her work while she is still in her early thirties. Fadojutimi's joyful, restless abstractions have made her a rising star in contemporary painting.
