Jeremy Mann
1979 – Present • 5 artworks
Jeremy Mann is an American contemporary painter known for moody, atmospheric cityscapes. Born in 1979, he paints urban scenes, rainy streets, glowing signs, and reflections on wet pavement, using broad, gestural strokes and dramatic light. He often builds up and scrapes back his surfaces with unusual tools, giving his cities a blurred, cinematic feeling.
His views of San Francisco and New York capture the energy and melancholy of the modern city rather than exact detail. He also paints figures and still lifes with the same rich, moody touch. Mann has built a large following, and his atmospheric urban paintings have made him a popular figure in contemporary representational art.
