Maggiori's story is a surprising one. Born in France, he once sang in a rock band before finding his true calling in the landscapes and legends of the American West. He now dedicates his brush to cowboys, horses, and the wide open country he came to love. His paintings tip their hat to earlier Western masters such as Frederic Remington, but the clouds are what set him apart. Time and again he fills his skies with those towering, glowing formations, and in this work they carry the drama, lifting a quiet moment between a man and his horse into something that feels genuinely majestic.
